Beach Life

There are many gorgeous beaches to choose from on Mustique. The north easterly side of the island offers more swell providing excellent surfing and body boarding, whilst the beaches on the south westerly aspect of the island offer calmer waters more suited to snorkeling and paddle boarding, perfect for family swimming and picnicking.

Where To Eat

From barefoot barbeques to formal a la carte dining, there are many different ways to enjoy the island’s natural hospitality. The Cotton House has recently been joined by Tristan Welch, a well-known culinary figure in the UK as former head chef of the revered 2* Michelin restaurant, Petrus.

The Veranda Restaurant, acclaimed throughout the region, offers a mouthwatering and sophisticated a la carte menu which focuses on fine dining with reference to traditional Caribbean flavours.

For those seeking something a little less formal the Beach Café situated on Endeavour Bay is a relaxed fish restaurant and beach bar.

Basil’s Beach Bar located in Britannia Bay has been hosting an international crowd for over 25 years. In season, Wednesday night is party night with a barbeque buffet dinner and the famous ‘Jump Up’ with live music.

There’s an extensive range of outdoor activities to enjoy on the island of Mustique. Take your pick of watersports such as stand up paddle boarding, bodyboarding, glass bottom kayaking and Hobie Cat sailing. Mustique also offers some of the best scuba diving in the Caribbean.

For the keen fisherman the seas around Mustique offer a host of different species from salt water salmon and mackerel, jack, yellowtail snapper and barracuda, to deep-sea tuna, mahi-mahi and marlin.

Stay on dry land and enjoy some tennis or perhaps you would like to explore Mustique on horseback, trekking up into the hills to enjoy the many wonderful views or gallop through the surf on a choice of deserted beaches.
